Dr. Dina Wahyuni, a Lecturer in Accounting, undertook her undergraduate degree and her first Master’s degree in her home country. After completing these studies, Dina decided to pursue a second Masters degree in Australia comprising coursework and research. She graduated Master of Business (Accounting) from Monash University and published a paper on voluntary carbon disclosures based on her thesis. Dina holds a PhD in carbon strategies and management practices from the University of South Australia as well as a Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from Swinburne University.
Her research interests span the areas of sustainable business and sustainability education – including carbon emissions trading impact on business strategy and reporting sustainable finance, and education for sustainable development. Dina has authored end-user informed assessments of carbon accounting and management that have resulted in policy prescription and guidance.
